...at the corner of 37th and Nicollet in Southwest Minneapolis, conveniently accessible by foot, bike, bus or car. We support users of sustainable transit systems with half price drinks for bikers and bus pass holders every Monday!
Butter sits between a northbound bike route on 1st Avenue South, and a southbound bike route on Blaisdell Avenue. We're also about one mile south of the Midtown Greenway's Nicollet exit, and just a few blocks north of the RiverLake Greenway along 40th Street. Learn more about biking in Minneapolis from Bike Walk Twin Cities. Show your helmet for a half price drink on Mondays! Connect with Bicycle Benefits.org for deals each time you bike to Butter. And now thanks to Bike Fixtation we have a bicycle repair stand available for your use. We now have a NICE RIDE station on the block for bike rental from April through Early November.
Nicollet Avenue is served by route 18, a high frequency route from downtown Minneapolis to Bloomington, with stops right outside our door. One block away, the 23 runs along 38th Street from Uptown to Highland Village. Find a schedule and plan your trip at Metro Transit's website. Have a bus pass? Your drinks are half-price on Mondays.
We have a limited number of off street parking spots behind the shop (off of 37th Street), including a 5 minute spot for those picking up to go orders, bakery, or coffee. There is always plenty of on street parking. We encourage carpooling or car sharing – an Hour Car hub is only a block away on 38th Street. Click on the map above to plan your trip.
