Join Dan and members of the local twin cities Social Enterprise network to this gathering to explore the Impact Ecosystem we create by being a social enterprise. Treats and coffee available, thoughtful conversation included!
The Impact Ecosystem Collective (IEC), run by Social Enterprise MSP, is a series of gatherings where community members interested in impact-driven work come together to learn about local social enterprises, and leverage their collective resources to further the work being done through social enterprise.
May is Small Business Month, and we will be learning about Butter Bakery Cafe, a local social enterprise that partners with Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative to give youth living at Nicollet Square supportive work experience. As a Social Benefit Corporation, they model sustainable practices, advocate for improvements to worker rights, and bring positive change to our food service industry.
The theme of this conversation is sustainability through environmental impact. If you are a social entrepreneur, service provider, educator, or community members wanting to leverage collaboration to address complex systems, we would love to have you join us. Through these gatherings we hope to inspire collaborations, support one another, build awareness of social enterprises, and connect authentically.
