Emily Sonne is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter in the Twin Cities and a future student of Berklee College of Music. Inspired by 60s folk, jazz, and modern contemporary styles, her songs range from coming of age perspectives, self-discovery anthems, and shady songs about boys that just deserve it.
Emily studied classical and contemporary vocal performance at the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists while also taking private lessons. Besides vocal training, she has 8 years of classical piano training and plays self-taught guitar.
Outside of school, Emily is working with Kaity Heart of Heart's Performing Arts, performing as a soloist in the Apple Valley High School R&B Band, writing music, and playing shows with other artists around the Twin Cities. Currently, she is writing and recording an EP with Chris Scott.
