September arrives

Unofficially I have driven the length of the construction route a couple evenings on my way home.  But it is still an obstacle course, it is still messy, and it is still something to be avoided.  The September routine is settling in, families returning for their after school treats and the change from last June is evident but there is still quite a bit of surprise that our road out front is still not really open.  All summer.

The last meeting with the project leader suggested another three weeks.  But the big final PAVING day may happen sometime during mid September.   Our pirate mast will likely stay all winter so I'm planning on decorating it with lights this time around.  Delays always happen on big projects, I do get that, but Enough already.
