Day 14

dig a trench, fill a trench.  progress today seemed pretty deceptive marked only by the travels of the head and shoulders of the worker in the trench.  The team of 4 moved along in front of us throughout the hot hot day - and I knew which person I would have chosen to be - down in the trench with cool earth around me...​

​Pipes are lined up along the avenue - ready for their turn to enter the trench. Progress can also be marked by how many are left waiting.

We're expecting a water change in the next day or so - disruptions have been minimal at this point so other than lack of parking..we're not feeling like we are under construction even though the road is definitely under construction.​
